This bestselling, beautiful hardback storybook for kids 3+ takes children on a journey from the Garden of Eden to God’s perfect new creation. It is a memorable, engaging, Bible-based gospel presentation that focuses on the significance of the temple curtain. God said “because of your sin you can’t come in”, but the moment the curtain tore in two, everything changed.
Children will learn why Jesus died and rose again and why that’s the best news ever.
The stunning illustrations are by Catalina Echeverri, author and illustrator of several bestselling children's books, including all the books in the 'Tales that Tell the Truth' series from The Good Book Company.

This is quite superb. Beautifully written and illustrated, this tells the story of the gospel so captivatingly that little ones will want to read it again and again. I’m sure it will win many young lives to Christ.
My grandchildren loved this book—and so did I. Both the pictures and the words have made the Bible's story of redemption clear and beautiful. This is a book that invites us in.
I am so excited about this book! It is colorful, engaging, and creative, and that's just the icing on the cake! Our children receive invitations to participate in many different stories—stories of who they are, their purpose, and what God is like. The Garden, the Curtain and the Cross is a brilliant re-telling of the one story that rules all other stories. I cannot commend this book highly enough. Read it to your children, give it to your neighbours, and talk about what it means to live in light of the fact that the curtain has been torn.

This book is a beautiful summary of the gospel. Using Old Testament imagery and events, Jesus is clearly tied to the full story, not just a stand-alone version of events.
The illustrations are eye catching and the use of repetition in the words is really great for young ones.
My 3 year old LOVES these books, but I know that many around this age might find these books a little too long.
Very beautiful and moving for adults as well!
Great for sharing more of God's story and the richness of Jesus' atoning sacrifice. It went brilliantly telling the story with PPT pics at Messy Church on Good Friday, enlightening regulars and inspiring newcomers to faith with God's deeper story
The Good Book does such a wonderful job with these books. They’re always biblical, with beautiful images and simple messaging for their audience. All my kids love them, I went ahead and got the whole series.
Such a lovely book that brings the Story of Salvation together for little ones. My children are 5 and 7, and really enjoyed listening to this.
This book beautifully explicates events that are difficult for many adults to understand! My two boys love this book and ask for me to read it to them often. We talk about the loving saving work Jesus was sent here to do and how much meaning our lives must have because He loves us so much. Thank you for this book and all the others like it in the series!
I know there are lots of good books in libraries for free. If I am going to spend money, though, I want to KEEP Christian books for my grandkids. I give them as gifts. I encourage other parents and grandparents to BUY engaging, uplifting, Biblically sound books as foundations of faith in our next generation.
My sister originally gifted me this book and I loved it! I shared it with my friend who also loved it! As a missionary in Japan who is friends with a translator, we hope this book can be translated into Japanese! Theologically accurate, engaging text, beautiful illustrations!
I love how this Bible storybook displays the parallels between creation, temple, and cross. It is a wonderful explanation of how Jesus fulfilled what was broken and how the entire biblical narrative comes full circle. Pictures are fun and intriguing for kids.
