Introduce kids 3+ to God’s good design for us to work together and help each other. Whether they’re shy, sociable, timid or convinced they can “do it themselves,” children will discover that we are wonderfully made to need one another.
Beloved Bible teacher Jen Wilkin uses memorable rhymes and delightful storytelling to show kids that it’s wonderful when we live, work and play as a team.
Marvelling at Rommel Ruiz’s vibrant illustrations as they listen to the story, kids will see that…
Starting with the story from Genesis 2 of Adam naming pairs of animals and then God creating Eve, this book lays a foundation for kids to discover…
“From these two came four and more,
Helpers, siblings, friends galore
Boys and girls all made to be
Partners in God’s family.”
With childlike simplicity and deep theological insight, Jen Wilkin shows kids that God has given us a gift in giving us each other.
Wow just wow! This is just a great book for kids. The Jen Wilkin and Rommel Ruiz duo really brings the best out of this one. I like Wilkin's text that are so spot on without forcing the words to rhyme. You can feel the emotion that engages the reader to flip the next page. The part that she enumerating the animals is fun without rushing the story or jut making it as fillers. She lets it build up the story through that "trick" pulling the readers to the story. Then the artwork is hands down so good. Ruiz provided ...a stunning visual that in itself is an experience. This is the part that I was mind blown. If you're reading this review, get this book. Highly recommended.
