Unit 4 for 8-11s looks at the subject of 'Preparing for Christ's return - From Ephesians and Revelation'.
This Leader's Pack includes the Leader's Manual, the relevant child component and the posters for this unit.
CLICK is a Bible-based programme for teaching and discipling children from 3-11 years. The CLICK curriculum is based on the belief that the Bible’s own theological framework should direct what is taught and how it is taught. CLICK is Bible-based, teaching the major events, concepts and doctrines of the Bible. It’s also great fun!
(Review written for 'Click Unit 4: 8-11s Leader's Manual')
We've used Click for the last few years. It's awesome to see how excited the teachers get over it and the children growing.
I love using Click, and bought the children's component as the books often use activities from it. The book costs £1.50 and has some little activities/puzzles that back up what was done in the session. I have 40 children in my 7s to 11s' group, and if I bought them each a copy of this booklet it would cost me £60! It is definitely not worth it. I bought one to see what kinds of activities it has, but I will carry on making up my own. It would be much more beneficial to put these ideas into the main ...Click teacher's book.
I love the 'Click' teaching programmes. They're easy to follow and are packed full of good ideas and activities to help the children understand and get a good grasp of the Bible. There are games to play, worksheets to use and manageable chunks of the Bible to teach each week, ensuring that there is something for everyone. You can mix and match the activities to suit the size and mix of your group and everything is Bible based. The children learn to use their Bibles which is really important I think, and enjoy themselves at the same time.
