I love that Very Best Bible Stories maintain the truth of a story, engage children in the emotion and content of the story, but most of all, reveal God's character. These are not books to 'change behaviour' ('be good and tidy your room' type books). How refreshing to have a series with delightful illustrations and interactive language.
This book is so creative and engaging! The illustrations are fun and hilarious. The author was clearly so intentional in every part of the book. I appreciate how the story emphasizes God's forgiveness and amazing mercy and is told in a way that young children can understand so easily!
