Endorsements

“When Elisabeth Elliot was a child, she began to sense God’s missionary call on her life. In this book, boys and girls today can read her story and consider whether God might be calling them, too, to tell others about Jesus. With simple sentences, engaging illustrations, and gospel truth, The Brave Girl Who Chose to Love is sure to delight both kids and the grown-ups who read to them.”

5.00 stars A Powerful Story of Forgiveness and Faith

  Reviewer Program Member

What makes this book especially powerful is that it doesn’t simply tell children about Elisabeth’s bravery; it points them to the source of that courage. Her story becomes a tangible picture of what it looks like to follow Jesus when obedience is difficult, to forgive when forgiveness feels impossible, and to trust that God is present even in frightening and painful circumstances. The emphasis on forgiveness and sharing the gospel gives children much more than an interesting biography; it gives them an example of what Christlike love can look like in real life.
