One2One: Just Looking - Discussion Guide
Welcome to the online Discussion Guide, which accompanies the Just Looking One2One Bible-study booklet. Below, you’ll find downloadable pdfs for each study, and a pdf which contains the guide for all the studies.

The idea of this guide is not to give you “the right answer” for each question in the booklet, but to help you if there is a question in the booklet that you’re struggling with. If you come up with extra or different stuff to what you find here, it doesn’t necessarily mean you’re wrong! This is a “guide”, not a “rule”!
We’d encourage you to prepare for your time reading through Luke together by looking through the session beforehand: and as you do that, you might find this guide helpful. But a word of warning: it’s always best to prepare on your own and then use this guide for any questions you’re struggling with, rather than simply to copy down what it says here without looking at the passage yourself!
Equally, it might be that you want to use this guide after you’ve finished your session, to look up any questions you found tricky as you looked at the passage together.
Not every question in the booklet is answered here. That’s because some questions in each session encourage you to think about how the truths in that Bible section apply to your individual life, and clearly we have no idea what your answer will or should be!
If you want to dig deeper into the text than this discussion guide allows, it’s well worth getting a “commentary” on Luke’s Gospel. We recommend the commentary on Luke in “The IVP New Testament Commentary Series” by Darrell L. Bock.
Enjoy “Just Looking”!
