This is an amazing resource for truly digging into God’s Word! First, your child gets their “mission kit” ready for their dive into Scripture: this book, a pen or pencil, the Bible, highlighters, and an adult to assist. Then they’re ready to hop in, and boy, do they dig deep!
Each “dive” takes them deeper into passages of the Bible. They read a passage, answer questions, solve puzzles, look for clues, and complete different activities along the way. It’s essentially ...Bible study disguised as a mission, and I absolutely love it!
I plan on using this with my kids for quite a while. My only wish is that there were an accompanying workbook where each child could compile their notes, clues, and discoveries, maybe something designed like their own personal mission folder. The book itself is so compact and small that having a separate place to keep everything together would be really helpful.
But overall, I have no complaints! I’m excited to use this in our homeschool. I think it will add both depth to my kids’ understanding of the Bible and a lot of fun to their time studying God’s Word. It’s a creative way to get kids engaged while encouraging them to really dig into Scripture.

I really like the format of this devotional for children! It is interactive which helps keep busy kids focused! Great resource to add to Bible time during the homeschool day!
Awesome resource for kids to dig into the Bible! This book is set up as if the reader is an investigator finding clues through each dive. It’s fun and has activities that engage children as they learn about the first two books of the Bible. My 9 year old son loves how he can do these on his own for his Bible study time. The lessons are short (5-10 mins) and simple enough for children to do on their own, but deep enough for them to grasp God’s glory and His redemptive story woven throughout Scripture. Looking forward to (hopefully) ...many more books in this series!
