It is a warm, practical and compassionate, whether focusing on the necessity for open communication, or the temptations we can fall into as death beckons, (I really hadn't thought about how pride and self reliance could be a stumbling block at this time). The control of difficult symptoms through palliative care, the example of Jesus as he faced death, and ...the sure and certain hope which is ours as much loved children of the King of kings are all addressed.
This book is uplifting: I was encouraged to love God more, enjoy life now and prepare well for life with Him eternally.
