Two-volume set of expository Bible-study guides to Acts.
Part of the God's Word For You series.
There is no more thrilling part of the Bible than the book of Acts, and no better guide to it than Albert Mohler. This two-volume set will fuel you for the Christian life and mission.
This set contains Acts 1-12 For You and Acts 13-28 For You.
These Expository Guides takes you verse by verse through the text in an accessible and applied way. They are less academic than a traditional commentary and can be read cover-to-cover, used in personal devotions, used to lead small group studies, or used for sermon preparation.

I've just finished using this (and the previous one) in my daily Bible time to read through the whole book of Acts in detail. It was really helpful - like having a wise friend there with me. He doesn't shy away from the confusing bits of the text. I particularly enjoyed reading the commentary on the end of Acts, which in the past I've always found a bit perplexing. I highly recommend this!
I am enjoying reading through Acts, along with this commentary. It is easy to read, and clear in explaining the biblical text.
I have used this book to help structure a weekly study in Acts with our anglophone group in our church here in France. It does not pretend to be a commentary but is eminently readable and understandable and has proved a tremendous source for our group.
This is the 9th book in this series that I have purchased and read, and is - by far- the least informative of the entire series. The explanations are perfunctory and fairly obvious to even an elementary Biblical scholar, and the applications and questions are superficial and self-explanatory.
The answer section in the workbook is all that you need. Save your money for more substantive resources than this.
