Barry Cooper was born in Epsom, Surrey, and studied English Language and Literature at St Catherine’s College, Oxford. After graduating with honours, he trained at the Webber Douglas Academy in London and began a seven year acting career that included work at Shakespeare's Globe and the National Theatre. At the same time, he completed a church placement in London’s East End, and spent several years leading on CYFA youth camps in the UK. He has attended All Souls Church in London for the last eight years and now works full time with Christianity Explored as Associate Evangelist, writing course material, training and speaking. He co-wrote Christianity Explored and If You Could Ask God One Question...
