Unit 7 for 5-7s looks at the subject of 'God Saves His People from Judges and 1 & 2 Samuel'.
The child's component for this unit is a series of full colour swapcards and a wallet to keep them in (which the children make in the first session).
Each swapcard shows a biblical character the children meet in the session and a key sentence about God that has been covered in the session.
The Swapcards in their wallet are to be taken home at the end of the final session.
This child's component accompanies the Click Unit 7: 5-7s Leaders Manual. There is also a Leader's Pack available.
CLICK is a Bible-based programme for teaching and discipling children from 3-11 years. The CLICK curriculum is based on the belief that the Bible’s own theological framework should direct what is taught and how it is taught. CLICK is Bible-based, teaching the major events, concepts and doctrines of the Bible. It’s also great fun!

Wonderful teaching material. So many creative ideas to choose from each week. The child's component is a series of collector cards which the kids enjoyed. The only downside was having to photocopy or print the worksheets each week rather than having a ready-to-go workbook. These printable sheets were available in the teacher's book and were good to reinforce the lesson and had a good variety of puzzles, colouring etc.
This book is a brilliant teaching aid for my school years 1 and 2. It is easy for them to follow.
I especially liked the poster which built up thru the series to produce a crown illustrating God's character.
The swap (collecting?) cards were a good idea and the children enjoyed having a wallet to keep them in.
As usual more ideas than I had time to use but lots of helpful ways to help children remember and respond. Thanks again for your ministry!
All of the leaders of our childrens group agree that the Click leaders pack is a very useful resource from which we can base our weekly class. We can pick and choose which activities are most suitable to our group knowing that we have a common thread running through from week to week.
