Important Update on Delivery Times From Our Commercial Director

James Burstow | 20 Apr 2020

I last wrote to you on the 17th March about the coronavirus, so I thought it was about time for an update.

Giving thanks

The UK lockdown officially began on 23rd March and we are so thankful to God that since that time we have managed to remain operational and continue to send much needed books and resources to people all over the UK and beyond. This month has seen an unprecedented number of orders, and it has been thrilling to hear stories of Christians using our resources as part of church livestreams and virtual home groups, to continue reaching out to friends and neighbours with the gospel and to encourage each other with God's word through these difficult days.

Delivery delays

Our distribution team is working additional hours to get the orders out as quickly as possible and both DPD and Royal Mail are still collecting daily for which we are very grateful. However, both services are reporting some delays in delivery times, particularly Royal Mail second class which is currently taking up to 10 working days. You can upgrade your delivery option at the checkout stage on the website, but if you order is particularly urgent, please call our Customer Service team on 0333 123 0880 so that we can advise you on the quickest delivery option for your package.

Thank you so much for your support and encouragement over the past month and for your patience if your order is taking longer to reach you than usual. We know that 'the Lord works in all things for the good of those he loves' (Romans 8:28) and we are praying that he will bless you, your loved ones and your ministry, whatever that may be, as we walk through this pandemic together.

In Christ,

James Burstow.
