Zechariah, with its opulent and sometimes terrifying imagery of the coming 'day of the Lord', is a hard and challenging prophecy to read. Yet it will repay study richly, when seen in its context not only in the Old Testament, but as a promise of the Lord Jesus. Jesus quotes Zechariah as he approaches his own crucifixion in Jerusalem: so to understand Zechariah is to understand the mission of the Lord Jesus in all its glory.

In preparing to lead group study on Zechariah I have found this guide a helpful approach, and it is good to have a faithful and thorough treatment, Christ-centred and encouraging. The language used can be rather erudite for the average reader however, and the tone academic and condescending. So we used it as a guide rather than following it too closely.
We are a Bible Study group of 13 people looking at Zechariah and decided to try study from a study guide for the first time and are currently at week five. Have to say that we have struggled even with the guide. Week two didn't seem to make sense but found study Four really good. We do have difficult getting through the study in the hour we allocate to looking at the word.
Great!
As a new Christian I have really enjoyed this study.
I have done the study on my own. It shouts Christ is Coming at you from start to finish.
Enlightening. easy to get to grips with
Loved it!
Well produced and mostly very useful but found the second study difficult to understand especially when compared to commentaries
