Daniel and the lion’s den, the fiery furnace and the mysterious writing on the wall: the book of Daniel is more than just a collection of familiar stories. It is about faith in seemingly impossible situations. These five studies help us to see the great hope that we can share in through our own struggles.

More than ever, young people today need answers to life's big questions. The Youthworks Bible study series is designed to challenge and encourage young people to be confident in their faith in Jesus in a changing world. The studies have been written by experienced youth leaders and are arranged into one of three categories - Old Testament, New Testament and Topical - for a clear overview of the Christian message.
These studies generated good discussions and thinking about standing up for the Lord and Lord's faithfulness to his people. There were a few places where questions were asked that couldn't be answered from the text - or even verses set to read followed by a couple of questions unrelated to what had just been read. So tweaks are required but definitely helpful and useable.
An excellent resource for young people. It contains a good overview. The suggested questions are thought provoking. They encourage the young people to think about the meaning of the text. There are also questions about applying the message of Daniel to their everyday lives. It is lively and contemporary. I would certainly recommend it.
