We are an evangelical Anglican church in south-west London seeking to appoint a Children’s and Families Worker. This is a full-time position, leading and developing our work with, and outreach to, children and their families in partnership with our existing volunteer leaders. Manager | Titus Trust

The Titus Trust is looking to recruit a well organised individual who will utilise his or her administrative gifts to support a growing ministry amongst the young people of the UK's independent schools.

The Titus Trust has been running activity holidays since the 1930s.  At these holidays young people from independent schools in the UK have an opportunity to hear and respond to the good news of Jesus Christ.

The Titus Trust currently employs a staff team of 16 who organise and run these holidays, and work to support teachers doing gospel ministry in the holidays' catchment schools.  The Trust Manager oversees the central functions of the charity to ensure all these activities are properly supported and resourced.

 The Trust Manager has responsibility for:

  • Being secretary to the Trustees
  • Donor communications and fundraising
  • Production of monthly and annual accounts
  • Managing the human resources function
  • Safeguarding
  • Legal compliance
  • Insurance

The Trustees would be interested to hear from applicants who can exhibit particular experience in at least one these responsibilities and a desire to take on a broad and varied role.  The Trustees expect the role to be based in Oxford.  The Trustees recognise that there is a genuine occupational requirement for the role to be filled by a Christian.

Ministry Opportunity | Strangers' Rest Mission

The Strangers’ Rest Mission (SRM) is a long established FIEC mission church in a densely populated multi cultural area of the East End of London situated on The Highway, Shadwell, not far from the Tower of London.

The Trustees are looking to appoint a man with a heart and ability to lead the congregation forward and develop a missional church that will build upon the work of the present pastor who is shortly to retire after many years of ministry. The successful applicant will be linked to the Ministry Team at the ELT Baptist Church to receive support and encouragement from their Senior Pastor and congregation during the initial years of pastoring the SRM congregation to meet the challenges and opportunities this mission situation provides.

In addition to being an able Bible teacher the successful applicant must have an aptitude to pastor, disciple and lead the congregation to evangelize the diverse community who live in this part of London.

Free accommodation is provided on site in a 3 bedroom flat. The salary will provide a living wage appropriate to inner London. The intention is to appoint for a September 2012 start.

Youth Ministry Trainee
