You will need to create a free account before you can order online. To do this, click the 'new account' button on the left.
To order goods online, first browse the categories on the left to find the item you require, and click 'Add to cart'. This will add the item to your virtual shopping cart. When you have added all of the items you want, click 'Checkout' in the menu on the left, and you be instructed to enter your delivery details and credit card information, and be able to look over the final order before clicking 'Confirm' and sending off your order. You may cancel at any time until then.
For security reasons, your first order must be delivered to your billing address.
Payment by credit card is the preferred method, but our regular customers will normally have the option to pay by invoice, dependent on the value of the order. If you would like to pay by any other method, such as BACS, please contact us.

We will usually despatch the order the same day if it is received before 1pm.
UK Std delivery will be either by Royal Mail 2nd Class, or for the heavier packages DHL. DHL's aim is to deliver the next day to 80% of all destinations within 250 miles of London. Northern Ireland and Highlands & Islands can typically expect a 3-5 day working day delivery from despatch.
UK Priority delivery means it will be despatched by 1st class, or Securicor and receive immediate response, not waiting in any queue of orders we may have. We cannot guarantee a next day service, though we would expect to be able to deliver it. If you require your order as urgently as possible, please ring up.
Europe & World - Royal Mail handle our international mail. Their priority service (the only one we use) is 3-5 working day delivery for European cities, and 5-7 working day delivery for International cities.

Each web site can send its own cookie to your browser if your browser's preferences allow it, but (to protect your privacy) your browser only permits a web site to access the cookies it has already sent to you, not the cookies sent to you by other sites.

If you do not want any of the items you have ordered, they may be returned for a full refund, provided that they are in saleable condition, and the buyer pays postage. The address to return to may be found on the Contact us page, and please enclose a note detailing the requested refund, including your invoice number. Refunds cannot unfortunately be given without an invoice number. Please ensure that the books do not get damaged in the return delivery - they must be tightly packed in protective packaging. Damage occuring during return is the responsibility of the customer.
If you have received damaged or incorrect goods, or your order is not completely fulfilled, please contact us on 0845 225 0880 to arrange a refund or replacement.
To view the discount range for a particular product, please find it on our website and look at the "Price Breaks" table on the right hand side. Please ring us up only if you are after a higher quantity than the table caters for.
Every year many worthy causes approach The Good Book Company for discounts beyond the retail price - including those serving some of the nation's most needy in Her Majesty's Prisons; foreign parties needing volumes of bibles; University & church missions; and friends of employees here.
We are not best placed to evaluate the worthiness of each cause - in a sense, all Christian ministries are doing vital work that should be supported. Local or specialist ministries that are familiar with the area you work in and share your aims are best placed both to evaluate your need and enable you to meet it financially. Thus we have adopted a totally uniform discount policy - you will not get more discount by ringing up where we have already published the details.
It took a lot of time to develop our complex variable-discount system, where our resources are placed on one of five or six different discount ranges according to a number of factors, such as postage costs & actual cost of product (print, shipping, marketing, warehousing etc.). This saves us an enormous amount of time and enables us to be fair, not favouring one Christian ministry above another. In saving time, we save money and can therefore provide everyone with lower prices.
