Encouraging story. Gripping
It is good to see how God has been at work in this lady's life; helping her to forgive such great evil and to find forgiveness herself ![]()
An encouraging holiday read...
I enjoyed reading this detailed and vividly personal account of one woman's survival through the Nazi regime. I read it over a two day period - so it was certainly gripping - however, I think I was expecting more detail of how Kathy Diosy's life had changed since becoming a christian. I was eagerly anticipating the part of the book where we learnt about Jesus awesome sacrifice for Kathy, but felt it was rather rushed and crammed into the last chapter or so. As a result you were left with a long (but no doubt interesting) account of her sufferring in the Nazi regime, and not an abounding amount of detail to do with her faith.
Overall an encouraging and inspiring read. ![]()
