A concise explanation of the true meaning of Christmas

Our Sunday School lesson aids on Luke's gospel having ended one week short of Christmas left us with a big question: how to sum up God's rescue plan in one lesson? The "Why did Jesus come" booklet provided helpful guidelines for teacher as well as giving the children something concrete to take home, after a useful and enjoyable exercise of going through the content in class.

An excellent give-away resource for our family carol service

(Review written for 'Why did Jesus come?')

We wanted something to give away to primary school age kids who might not normally set foot in a church but had come to our family carol (organised mayhem) event.

The booklet is excellent - clear teaching on the incarnation but in an accessible way through short exercises, puzzles and quizzes. The kind of thing that can be taken home & thought through further.

Also useful for Christian kids who have made a commitment but for whom hearing things in a different format / through different means is helpful.

Planning to get 'why did Jesus rise?' for Easter...
