About:
Ruth was a simple woman, widowed, childless and desperately poor living in a foreign country. Her life was just a brief history in time. She was unimportant, yet she features in God's history of the world: her story is still told thousands of years later.
This year at the Northern Women's Convention, Carrie Sandom is joining us again to help us explore the book of Ruth. Seminars will help us engage biblically with a wide variety of issues. We want to grapple with difficult life circumstances such as childlessness; how to be better equipped to pass on God's great plan for history to others; how to grow in our own relationship with God, and personal holiness. This year you will be able to attend two seminars from a choice of eight topics.
The Northern Womens Convention is a great opportunity for Christian women from many different churches to meet together and encourage one another so that we will not grow weary or lose heart. Each year women rejoice in the fellowship & teaching they receive. The music will be led by Katherine Buckley and band. We look forward to seeing you there. Doors open at 9am.
