Contagious is a youth Bible Conference. It seeks to teach and apply the Word of God to the lives of young people. Each year a different theme is covered and is looked at to a level of detail not experienced by even the majority of leaders. Topics such as The Sovereignty of God, Idolatry and Spiritual Warfare are among those that have been covered. In 2010 the teaching will focus on the book of Revelation.
Contagious proves that great fun and hard work are not mutually exclusive. There is over 5 hours of Bible teaching each day. The teaching is presented in a variety of formats – preaching, seminars, small group discussions, workshops and 1 to1s. During the afternoons there is opportunity to rest and relax or take part in the variety of activities that are arranged. Contagious is enjoyed by young people from all sorts of backgrounds, churches and experience.
Contagious East is for young people aged between 14 and 19 (inclusive). Those aged 20 and 21 can attend as part of the leadership training programme called Task Force. Details of how to apply as leader or as a member of Task Force are available from the Contagious website. There are two new Contagious conferences in 2010. Contagious Nano (for 11-13 year olds) and Contagious West (held at Hebron Hall, Cardiff).
