About:
Those of us who work with children and young people find ourselves in a leadership position with some unique challenges. We must lead vulnerable and impressionable children into a mature faith that they call their own. We lead armies of volunteer workers with training, pastoral and emotional needs of their own. And we are part of a leadership team in a church that can have its own distinctive challenges! How do we become the leaders that God wants us to be?
Join us for this action-packed practical hands-on conference that will connect you with the advice and principles you need to be a leader from the top expert on the subject – God himself. As we open up the Bible together we will learn everything we need to know to be the kind of leader that Jesus wants us to be.
Over the four days of this popular and growing conference, we aim to feed the minds of participating youthworkers, hone our Bible-handling skills, encourage our souls with the nourishment of God’s Word, and spur each other on in the vital task we have before us.
This is the seventh in our annual series of residential conferences for those working with children and young people. Through an engaging mix of Bible-readings, talks, seminars and discussions groups we get to grips with ‘leading questions’ – what the Bible says about leadership. Great teaching, practical training, stirring encouragement and relaxed fellowship with people who face the same challenges and issues as you week by week.
