The pack contains an Advent Calendar and Book to help children and families explore the Bible at Christmas. Each window in the Advent Calendar opens to reveal a rich, full colour illustration. The accompanying book helps families to read two or three verses from Matthew or Luke each day, discuss some simple questions and then pray together.
Table of Contents
The A3 Advent Calendar has 25 windows, which open to reveal a full colour illustration of the events of the first Christmas. Each door has a verse printed on the back of it.
Each door also reveals a hidden letter, which is part of a message about the coming of King Jesus. This hidden message is one of several puzzles printed on the back of the calendar.
The accompanying 32 page booklet gives outlines for a short family Bible time each day during Advent.

Customer Reviews
A fantastic biblical resource
I did this with my 5 year old. We don't celebrate Christmas and this was truly biblical. I was impressed by how child friendly it was. It was broken down into easy parts that were always engaging. I am buying it for the other children in our circle of family and friends.

Review by Mrs Yvonne Wilkinson | 26.01.2006
My 6 year old daughter and I went through this wonderful calendar and she loved it! I enjoyed the booklet and my daughter grasped much of it despite her tender years. The pictures in the calendar are very colourful and she especially enjoyed opening Dec 25th. As a new reader she really enjoyed reading the texts herself and trying to learn new words in the bible. I'm so glad I bought it at the womens convention in London.
