Other Info
Table Talk is for families with children from 4 yrs and up to use for daily Bible times. Each day takes about five minutes, maybe at breakfast or after an evening meal. Choose whatever time suits you best as a family.

Customer Reviews

A great resource for families
Review by Rebecca Jenkins | 10.07.2010

We have recently graduated onto Table Talk after 6 years with toddler-aimed daily readings and we have been thrilled by the response of our primary-aged children. We never imagined that we could have a proper bible study round the breakfast table which stretches our 10 year old while also engaging the 6 year old and being quick enough to get to school on time. This is a tremendous blessing to Christian families.

Generally a good idea
Review by Anonymous | 15.09.2009

Am currently using it with my 5 and 4 yr old. Some of it goes above the 4 yr old's head and the 5yr old at times. Be prepared to dumb it down, and if able to do that, then its great.

looks good but target age too ambitious
Review by Rebecca Pluke | 29.10.2008

The content looks excellent but I have decided to put this one away for at least a year. I think the visual presentation is too dull looking for a 4/5 yr old although it is supposed to be for ages 4-7 I think it is more appropriate for 6+. My daughter took one look at it and said she wanted to stick with her current bible book 'God and Me' But I have to confess I have not actually tried it with my just 5 year old so cannot comment very accurately.

Best resource for family reading we have used

Interesting and lively studies that have been a blessing to us as a family. Like the contemporary styling yet the books are still Bible centred.

A good resource for families
Review by Graeme & Katharine Wheelhouse | 01.03.2008

Table Talk is useful and easy to follow but is not really suitable for children under the age of 5.

It is fairly succinct and only takes a few minutes per day though one reading / session every day seems difficult to achieve.

We would recommend this to friends as everything that is published by the GBC is good sound stuff.

The best children's Bible notes I've found!
Review by Allie Wisdom | 07.11.2007

I use Table Talk with my 6 year old son, in the car before school. He absolutely loves it and can now find his way around the Bible really well! We have found the short studies really good fun and he usually wants to do the Building Up section at the end. The 'way in' ideas and parents notes are really helpful. These are the best children's notes I've found in 13 years of parenting!
