Catchy songs, particularly the title track for which we bought it, but isn't as good as God is Great. Some of them go way out to sound contemporary, to the point of parody, and just repeat the text reference or "wickie wickie wickie" type non-words. I was a bit surprised. Probably aimed at older children, 9 up or so. Bit it won't get them singing.

Once you've learnt the words from CD1 you can play CD2 and sing along with the music. Great if you want to sing songs at Sunday school and need the music alone.

The lyrics are funny and appealing to young children.

Great biblical message that is taught through each of the songs.

See as above-it will have you and your kids hooked within the first listen-and you will ALL be singing the songs for the rest of the day-and not just in your head!

Really good for those mornings which have been testing-and then the children ask for music as you pull out of the drive on the way to school-puts life into it's proper perspective!

We were introduced to Colin back in Australia and have a number of the CDs. Colin has a wonderful gift of being able to simplify concepts from the Bible without watering down the message. He's particularly good at setting memory verses to music. This latest CD isn't as 'Australian' as some of his previous offerings (making it more adaptable in church), but is probably better suited for school-age children: there are more role-playing songs and silly accents than previous CDs, and the post-production on some of the songs make it more difficult to make out the words. That being said, my two-year-old loves it and has already learnt her first memory verse!

We love it, our son is still a bit young for it but it is great to have good kids music that is faithful to the Bible.

I love this CD! Funny, catchy songs with a clear gospel message. The title song has quickly become a favourite at our church.

I use it with my youth group!

I have just bought this and listened to it (repeatedly)with my 3 teenagers + 11 year old who usually have a taste for more "sophisticated" things. We all love it - the jokes , the verse the songs but above all the Bible truths and verses. It keeps going round your head - be warned!

This is another great CD from Colin. Suitable for all ages of children, it helps them to learn biblical truths and memory verses in an easy and fun way.

As ever Colin Buchanan continues to provide an upbeat,enjoyable and lively way to communicate Big bible themes to children - continuing to hammer home good old fashioned wholesome bible words and themes in a 21st century fashion- a must for children and a great gift to give away to share the gospel- really helps children understand some big bible words

Once again, Colin has produced a wonderful album of songs, thoroughly faithful to Scripture and toe-tappingly addictive.

Particular highlights for my family are: Are you serving Cap'n Jesus? and the title song: Super Saviour, which gets us all very excited about Jesus' resurrection!

We bought this after seeing Colin Buchanan perform a live show at the Keswick Convention. Our boys loved every minute and are constantly asking for "Colin!". The songs are a mixture of catchy tunes, Biblical lyrics and a real emphasis on putting Bible verses to music. Already our 2 year old is learning texts by listening to this!

Another great CD by Colin Buchanan loved by my 7 year old daughter and played and sung at top volume. All songs thoroughly Bible based - a good mix of fun songs and Bible verses to learn. A great resource for Sunday School singing and even a couple that the adults could sing in church!!!

Colin's albums are all worth snapping up but this latest album is his best, i reckon. There are no weak points but plenty of high points. We already love 'Super Saviour', 'Jesus number 1' and 'Big Words that end in Shun' is just genius. No one does a better job than Colin of teaching and applying deep biblical truths in a really clear, simple and memorable way. I think there are going to be a number from this album which are sung in lots of churches and homes up and down the UK. His live shows are hilarious too.
