These are just some of the questions pressed upon us, whether we are business people, doctors, nurse, social workers, teachers, financiers or carers. The issues of modern life demand answers, but guidance and direction are too often lacking. Increasingly our society no longer seems well equipped to face today's moral dilemmas.

Responding to this moral jungle, David Cook aims to provide paths that help us to work out answers for ourselves within a realistic framework. Each answer has a consistent framework that sets out the background to the questions, society's response and a christian perspective. The questions are conveniently grouped into contemporary themes like force and violence, sexuality, fashion and lifestyle, and the media.
