We wanted a Bible for the older children in our sunday school to read aloud to the younger ones and also to make them feel impoortant. Our six year olds are able to read it and we particularly like that it is the whole Bible and not the "stories from the Bible" approach that so often are used with children. A great resource.

This Bible is an understandable translation for children and adults alike. I use it for my Kids club and the age group (8-11 mostly, but 5-11 in total) and they find it easy to understand, and it means i don't have to explain things as much.

Excellent for young readers that can cope with the full text of the bible, but structured to make it digestible. We use it as the Bible our children receive at a large club for 7 to 11s with both church and non-church children. Some of the old favorite memory verses from the NIV sound different, but as readable text it is much more accessible to the inexperienced. A great first Bible for the young. Expensive, but there is a discount when buying 10 or more.
