'Dr Peter Adam brings to this commentary the mind of a scholar and the pastor. His work is based on careful study of the book of Hebrews, along with interaction with the writings of others.

The commentary belongs to a series committed to brevity, and also to academic integrity for busy people to enable them to extract the maximum benefit possible in short periods of time.

The questions are designed for personal reflection, family discussion or Bible study groups. Peter Adam's style is lively and provocative. I am confident is commentary on Hebrews will indeed be a Message of Encouragement.'

- Dr Paul Barnett, Series Editor
