In depth review of whole bible

In addition to presenting a sound overview of the developing, yet coherent message of the Bible, the particular way in which this is done makes it highly memorable. It is thus a valuable resource for helping us to keep 'God's Big Picture' clearly in mind in our reading of the Bible which is so important if we are not to keep missing the wood for the trees.

First quick read through left me wanting to know more and I think I've got more questions now that I did before I started. However, I intend my second read to be more study based as I make my way through the Old Testament at the same time.

A very interesting and informative read- really gave me an excitement for the old testament. This book helped me to understand how the bible all slots together and what it is all about.

This is an excellent book, very easy to read and understand and presents the Bible message in a logical progressive way. It has also proved very useful as a resource for presenting bible overviews in group work. Highly recommended.

Very light and easy to read summary of one helpful approach to seeing the Bible as one book. Can be read/skimmed in a single session, or studied over a longer period, or used as a framework for more in-depth personal study. Personally, I have used it to provide a good basis for a sermon series on the Old Testament as a whole.
