'In the course of this book, I want to change your mind about fathering. I want to change the way you think about it, both consciously and instinctively. And if I succeed, it will change the way you act every day in a thousand ways. It will make you a better father.'

In this very readable book, Tony Payne takes a fresh look at what the Bible says about dads. What does it really mean to be a father? What should fathers be trying to achieve? And how can they do a better job?

He answers these questions with insight, practical wisdom and good humour.

Highly recommended read for a Biblical understanding of fatherhood.

With a new baby on the way, I found this an easy to read and thought provoking book on the role of the father in the family. It is accessible, highly practical and solidly biblical. Highly recommended!
