His birth and death are commemorated worldwide. He's the subject of more books, movies, songs and art than anybody else. And nobody has had more of an impact on people's lives and in shaping human affairs. If history has a fulcrum, Jesus is it.

The problem is that for many of us, Jesus has ceased to be a real person. We've sanitised Him in pious jargon and framed Him in stained glass. And so Jesus has become like a religious puppet floating through biblical landscapes dispensing Christian cliches and nice advice.

I thoroughly enjoyed the book. Ben and Pete do an excellent job at getting their point across in a simple and fun way. Although we know about Jesus, there is so much in the book that they make you think about. A brilliant read!
