I have at last found a good quality 'gospel outreach' which is straight to the point and does not insult the recipient's intelligence. I put them in christmas cards and had such comments as,"It really did hit home." "Thank you so much, I've read every word." I wish I'd ordered more and will keep a stock in from now on. Thank you!

A good outreach tool - we gave a copy to each of our church members and asked them to read and pass them on to a non-Christian friend. Just maybe a bit too wordy for the average reader.

nice size to introduce the christianty explored course

These books have been amazing, we used them to hand out to people who haven't heard the gospel before, and also for those who want to know more. They are explained SO well and use great language that isn't too complicated. They really get the message across in a great way. I would reccommend them to anybody and would encourage you to hand them out to people!!!!

A delightful book to read and so easy to understand/comprehend.

I am part of the youth leadership team in our church. We use this resource together with "What's it all about", another thegoodbook publication (for our younger members). Both give an excellent explanation of how to discover Jesus in a personal and relevent way. It uses current language to get the message across which, where working with youth from the ages of 12 to 18, really helps to explain the difference Jesus can make in their lives. These booklets are available to the whole church and will be on permanent display in our friendship centre, on the youth notice board. I thorouhly recommend the good book company both for this resource and the many others provided. Reaching out to others is the mission statement that Jesus left us with. May His Holy Spirit greatly bless and use these resources to further His Kingdom to our generation.

Myself and others were very impressed with this book. It isa clear and excellent presentation of the Gospel We have been giving it away at our Coffee Mornings and it is also being used to stimulate interest in a Christianity Explored course which we are trying to start.

This is a great little booklet to give to someone who is thinking of coming to a CE course - it's short, but get's the point across of Jesus - worth giving these to those who show an initial interest in Jesus...

I reviewed several short booklets in order to find something suitable to distribute to the homes of our Parish. 'The Real Jesus' was the best by a long way because it is written in simple, 'street cred', jargon-free language without compromising the truth of the gospel. A great investment in bringing the good news of Jesus to people who are unlikely to come to church for as little as 12p a copy.
