Very useful to go alongside Christianity Explored, as participants have expressed a need to refer to the OT during the course. It is compact & therefore easy for participants to bring it along to each session. The Gideon-style reference section at the end, and the synoptic summary of the life of Jesus in the different gospels, was also helpful for a CE group. The only drawback is that the print size is necessarily small, which is a problem for older participants.

Good size, light, easy to handle. One minor reservation - the relatively small font size. But the price and size put this into perspective, and it's been no problem for the 20s-60s age range in our group. Excellent value.

The packs of NIV Bibles are a very useful resource at a good price. It is very helpful for everyone in a group to have the same edition, so that it is easy to find references by page number. It is important not to intimidate group members who are not familiar with the Bible. It is great to be able give everyone a Bible to encourage them to read it for themselves - in this case, to encourage them to read Mark's Gospel as part of Christianity Explored. My only negative is that the print is small and not easy to read.

Excellent Bibles to give away!

Very useful for the Christianity Explored course. For those completely unused to opening a Bible, this enables page numbers to be given for references.

The price is delightfully low, which presumably is the cause of one slight disavantage: the closeness of the lines of type, which might prove a problem for older users.

Ideal for use in small groups where some may be unchurched and therefore don't have bibles. Very good quality and ideal to give away.

Great value. Very helpful to have just one version of the Bible in the group with the same page numbers! Particularly useful in evangelistic groups.
