Very helpful course. We have used this with a group of 12 young people (aged 11-18). It was slow to start, with the first session feeling a little stilted. However, we have perservered and by using the Christianity explored DVD for a couple of sessions and putting some of the questions on PowerPoint with some visual stimulus as well, the group have become more engaged and responsive. We have used several of the preliminary games and added to them as we try to use an hour of fun before the discussion part of our evenings.

As for the content - it is very accessible and clearly maps out the reasons for a sound Christian faith.

The leaders guide provides a step-by-step approach that can reduce the amount of preparation for a busy course leader. It includes useful ice breakers and a clear train of thought to follow through the sessions

This is a really good resource. It includes how to do the talks, groupwork, games etc. Very comprehensive. It is aimed more at unchurched youth, so if you have churched youth you will need to slightly adapt it. Definately recommend it !

I have used this guide in many groups for Christianity Explored. It is very simply laid out and I find it so easy to use with the minimum preparation because it is all in the booklet.

I highly recommend this teaching material.

The best introduction to Christianity for 11-14s that I have found.

We have just finished running our first CY course and have found this book to be very useful. It is packed with ideas and is easy to follow. We were able to pick it up and run with it without having to spend ages planning each session. All the ideas worked and there was more than enough content to fill the session.
